Triptych

Since I am working many hours today and tomorrow, I don’t know how soon I’ll get a chance to write a proper blog entry about my trip to Halifax to see the Yarn Harlot. So here are three photographs for now.

This is the New Brunswick washcloth I knit. It’s poorly lit, but I think you can actually see the design on it in this shot.

I used this pattern to make the washcloth.

This is Stephanie Pearl-McPhee holding the New Brunswick washcloth that I gave to her. Not that anyone really needs these photos annotated, but I’ve gotten into a groove here.

This is me holding the washcloth and the Harlot’s travelling sock. I was trying to push my hair out of the way so that the writing on my shirt would be clearly visible. You can see the shirt just fine, but my hair looks deeply bizarre. I look like a cocker spaniel.

It was a great deal of fun. There were KOLers, there was Henry, there were other New Brunswick knitters… but I’ve got no time to wax eloquent about it all now. Duty calls.

Ok, I am so dense. How long have I been reading your blog? A while. This is the first time I’ve matched up the virtual you and the real you. Cripes.

It is so very cool that you got to see Yarn Harlot in person! We really must bug her to come here on her next tour. :p

Yes, it was fun, wasn’t it? Did I hear you say you and your boyfriend were both librarians (even though you’re “non-practicing” right now?)? When did you go to Dal?
