A picture is supposed to be worth a thousand words, but this one only needs to express ten.

“I bought a new book and it makes me smile.”

I checked chapters.ca about ten minutes before I went out and it said that no store in town had a copy of the book in stock yet, so I thought it was completely pathological of me to make a trip to the nearest Coles specifically to see if they had it. They did have it, though! Not only do I have the book now, there is also the added bonus of knowing that I am not quite as insane as I had feared. (Oh. Shit. Now I remember the part where I jumped up and down in front of the Crafts and Hobbies section. I guess I’m insane after all.)

The baby booties aren’t interesting to talk about and I’m not going to post a picture of them until I put the straps and buttons on them. I also haven’t done enough work on my current cross stitch project in the past few days to warrant taking another progress shot of it. (Note to self: Also, you still have to finish Pooh Bear. You forgot about him, didn’t you? You’d better practice French knots sometime so you can finally give the poor thing some eyes.) As I have nothing else to say, I will get back to reading the book.
