NaNo and Knitting Are Not Compatible
Not for me, anyway. During the month of November, I did very little knitting and no blogging (until now), but I did once again write 50,000 words of a bad novel for NaNoWriMo.
Although I finished knitting the rainbow ribbed scarf nearly a month ago, the bindoff is not to my satisfaction and I keep meaning to fix that but I haven’t yet, which is why I haven’t photographed the whole scarf yet and I haven’t worn it yet. Maybe I’ll get around to fixing it tomorrow, now that NaNo is over.
Oh, and I was wrong when I said it’s going to be all about the scarves from now until at least Christmas. I am willing to revise this statement to include a shawl.

I will probably start a shawl from this Fleece Artist Goldielocks Shawl Kit tomorrow as well.
I knew finishing NaNo would give me a bit more free time, but I now have an unexpectedly large amount of free time on my hands, as I also very recently quit my call centre job when I realized that 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. are really not the hours I want to be working. So I will be even more broke than usual, but I will have more time to hunt for a job that’s actually in my career field, more time to knit, more time to blog, and more time to read other people’s blogs, which I also hadn’t been doing lately. Yay.

You could always apply here at Cendant. Maybe you’ll even end up working on the same campaign as me. There’s plenty of time here for knitting, lemme tell ya!
Good job on getting NaNo done, by the way! I didn’t manage it. I got a little over halfway before I lost steam. :/ There’s always next year, though.
I’m going to have fun reading through all your blog archives! XD
